Commission

In between creating exhibitions I like to open studio time for limited commissions. 

A commissioned piece of bespoke artwork requires commitment and trust between both client and artist. It is a collaboration.  We will work together in the initial stages to discuss your expectations and vision.  Once an agreement has been reached studio time is reserved, and a deposit is paid. I will then begin the piece and send photos at composition stage.  I work directly with oils onto the canvas so no preliminary sketches will be available. At this stage I like to work alone without further input to achieve the best result.  On completion of the piece, I will forward further images with framing suggestions.  At this point the balance of payment is made. 

Ultimately, the artwork represents my body of work and I reserve the right to refuse a commissioned artwork if I feel it does not reflect my practice accurately. I like to work on large format canvases from 900mm x 900mm up and as such do not often accept commissions for smaller pieces.  Please read the below carefully and use the enquiry link to submit a commission request.
